ABOUT THE NOAM SINGERS
The Noam Singers started with 5 Yeshiva University students in October, 1967: Rubin Cooper, Morton Frank, Israel Meller, Steven Schwartz and Leonard Weiner. Rube and Lenny left the group after 1 year due to other commitments. The group also included Jay Goldstein z'l on bass and Shmuel Leifer on tof. Their 3 record albums came out in 1968, 1969 and 1970.

The Noam Singers appeared in concert throughout the U.S. and Canada until 1973, including an appearance at Carnegie Hall in 1968. In 1987, they played a reunion concert in Toronto with Shlomo Carlebach.
